Skill Development Center (SDC) is non-profit organization established by a group of Somali professionals in 2008. The mission of SDC is to impart quality skills to the large number unskilled youth in Somalia by providing excellent training programs so that they are able to become self reliant. Another, and equally important, goal of SDC is turn young people away from violent ideologies and to have them develop appreciation for hard work and to raise their self esteem.

Our decision making process is informed by comprehensive empirical studies and high quality data evaluation. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.

Skills Development Center-SDC is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Non-Profit Organization is aimed at providing a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges.
